I wrote this song over two years ago with my wonderful husband and songwriting partner Jon Parkins. I was reminiscing about the past and remembering how lost I felt when my last relationship ended and feeling like it'll never get better. It did!

Jon and I took the song to my amazingly talented friend Jonny Moody who recorded all of the other instruments (Jon also on guitar and myself on vocals) and he produced, mixed and mastered this track.

The artwork is taken from the back of a photo that Jonny Moody gave me all those years ago when I was feeling down during said break up. We went for a walk in the forest and I was lost in my own misery and then he told me to stop and be quiet because a beautiful deer was hiding in the trees. He took a photo of the deer and framed it for me and simply wrote 'Take time to see'. It seemed the perfect artwork for this track.

We worked hard on this track and I'm so proud of the complex vocal arrangements I achieved with Jonny's guidance.

All money raised will be going to Brain Tumour research in honour of my brave and brilliant sister. Her recovery will take time but it will get better.
